During the January reorganization meeting, Dr. Sean McCarron ran the meeting until it was time for a board president to be nominated.
Dr. McCarron administered the oath of office to Samantha Spaulding, Dennis Leggoe, and Angel Beebe.
Leggoe was previously on the Runnemede Board of Education and resigned in December 2021.
Nominations were opened for both board president and vice president. Board member Samantha Spaulding was elected to serve as board president for 2024. Barbara Sams was elected to serve as board vice president for 2024.
The meeting minutes for the December 13, 2023 meeting were approved.
The Board approved the 2022-2023 ACFR (Annual Comprehensive Financial Report) to be submitted to the Department of Education. It was mentioned there were no findings in the report.
Monthly board of education meetings will be on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Mary E. Volz library unless specified.
The next board of education meeting will be on Wednesday, February 21st starting at 6:30 p.m.

[Financial Report 1-4-2024] – An Open Public Records Act request was submitted 1-4-2024 for the approved financial report. The request was completed on 1-5-2024.
